Camp thank you letter

In week 7, we had year 5/6 camp. There were heaps of helpers. I have written a letter to say thank you to Mrs Burt.

what is camp?

On the 11th March 2020 Pt England school had their 30th year of camp. The annual year ⅚ camp, Tumanako was going to be the best camp of all. Camp Tumanako is about learning new things and spending time with your friends. Also when you're on camp you're not a school kid your a camp kid. Some activities you do are kayaking,slip n sid,pools. Kayaking was fun. I went on solo and went around a triangle. One thing about the triangle was that it is really far and scary and I thought I was going to drown. Then I went on duos with my friend Jezer and we had a race with two girls and they were in the lead. So me and Jezer went faster and faster, it was really hard cause borth had to paddle at the same time. My other highlight was when Jezer farted at night and then we started to laugh and then we got in trouble, it was crack up. I would like to thank Mrs Burt and Mrs Somerville, and my mum for letting me go to camp Tumanako , the best camp ever and to the leader Najari and Juliana. To have fun and to explore and I learn to be humble.

Three things I am looking forward to and why

1 Something I'm looking forward to is movie night. Why? Because when you're tired it's relaxing and quiet.

2 Secondly what I want to do is skate boarding. Why? It is really fun and nice. You get to go on scooters too. But I recommend going on a skateboard because they are the best.

3 Thirdly I’m looking forward to who wins camp. Why? Because when you win it's fun, you get lollies and you get to pick who’s king and queen
